Blue Hole Falls offers a fairy tale experience in the heart of Elizabethton TN. located in Cherokee National Forest.
Dreamy flowing waters come from the top of the mountain creating not one, but a multi-tier waterfall that no video can truly capture.
Jump into the cold clear blue water to cool off on a hot summer day, and swim across the springs to a natural waterfall slide!
Watch the sun intertwine between the tree leaves, as you bask in the sun on the smoothest shelf rocks beneath the spring water!
Wade in a pool surrounded by shaded caved walls that portray a life-size wishing well.
Pack a picnic and enjoy the sounds of birds chirping, water flowing and people laughing.
Grab a friend for a perfect fairy tale photo opportunity. Or better yet, bring a great book you can get lost in with the dreamy sounds.
Things to know:
- Wear shoes with good traction.
- The watering hole offers limited parking spaces.
- The trail is a steep 2-minute hike to the falls. Thankfully the tree roots act as a great staircase.
As you make your way down you will find well-built wooden steps that make accessing the first two falls very easy! The 3rd fall is the most difficult to get to!
